First, it was mom that went a few months back but today I had to make a painful choice and put down my Cockatiel named Skeeter. He was 22 years old and he started having trouble with his right foot. It turns out that his condition was neurological which means that he had developed a tumor on his spine and if I didn't do anything he would have eventually wound up having both his feet paralyzed. It was really painful having to put Skeeter down and I hope that bird forgives me and doesn't hate me. Sorry for the long rant but I've just been severely depressed about this and sometimes I don't want to be alive.
