I'm doing some research on it, and it looks like Intel has abandoned the power route, and is focusing on products around the CPU. I suppose it makes sense. Most things today aren't limited by CPU power.

I bought AMD around $11, watched it go up and then get pretty low again. I got rid of it when it was around $14. Should have held on longer, lol.  Yeah I don't think Intel is out just yet. I'm thinking about it now, and even as a gamer, I don't need a super high end CPU. I think they might've realized we're getting a lot of diminishing returns on CPU power so they might as well just focus on having more features. They're hitting casuals hard with being able to play games like Fortnite with decent settings with no extra GPU. --- If you're going through hell, keep going. -Winston Churchill ...
