So they make the Skrulls the good guys? Just out and out victims? Interesting. Based on the comics and cartoons I always got the impression that both the skrulls and kree were a bunch of asses and that both were bad, just in different ways.
The anti climactic way they had Fury lose his eye was hilarious, especially with Coulson talking about it afterwards. Not sure what the deal is with the cat flerk though. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's your typical average MCU movie, doesn't do anything new or interesting, though i guess you can't really do that much for an origin story anyways.

my problem with the movie is that there was zero drama or tension. Captain Marvel was ridiculously overpowered. You knew she was going to be fine and overcome any obstacles in her way. Also what was the point of Ronan in the movie? His cameo was so dumb. And the way they explained Fury's missing eye was too hokey for my liking.

I did come away feeling like "they did this quickly just to explain that final scene from the avengers 3 movie" and think that's what it was. But despite that it was pretty entertaining.
I'm gonna agree with the Ronan bit, I love lee pace but not sure what the point of Ronan even was. To foreshadow that he'll come back for the girl? Newsflash Marvel --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

The most I got hyped during the movie was at the end when I sung along with the Courtney Love song during the credits.
With that said, it was fine overall. I feel like it would have been much better had the script been improved a bit and someone with a better vision was directing. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
