These are the choices we make, there are plenty of programs who wish to make this experience as pleasant as possible for you and many people come out of pregnancy feeling more fulfilled.

I am really sorry the timing sucks but we will get through it and theres gonna be so much more happiness after!!

People who have babies tend to love them more than any other relationship possible anyway

You can do this with whomever you end up with and see how well that works for you.

To me that just seems like placating, like you're trying to make the best of a bad situation, and in fact underlining that it's a bad situation. If we have other options, they should be available and safe.

And that shouldnt be another option~ its not making the best of a BAD situation its seeing that there is beauty in scary things. Everything is scary because were never ready for change and never know if we can handle it

But if we can take steps to lessen the burden from that change, I feel it should be allowed.

I've known women who have gone through an abortion, and nobody likes it. Nobody gets pregnant and says "Sick! I get to have an abortion!" It's obviously an emotional process where the women have a lot of worries and doubts. Society isn't helping either, with the stigma put on it. They'd rather not have to make that choice at all, but every one of them was grateful it was available to them and became better people as a result, and in most cases mothers themselves later on.

Its emotionally traumatic because its morally abhorrent and were programmed to want to protect whats in us. Because even if our society and culture want to paint things one way, our biology tells us yes it is Alive, you do love it, protect it

I agree with everything except the bolded. That's your own opinion.

Surgery can also be traumatic, but we have it anyway to preserve our lives.

No moral standard really allows for killing or erasing life though so any moral philosopher we use...

Saving lives yeah. People can die without proper surgery.
Surgery on yourself to fix yourself is different
Then procedure on yourself
To kill something else thats alive that youre programmed to protect

Being programmed for something doesn't make it moral.

My line break was to respond to both of the things at hand.
