In medical emergencies Ive been told I can leave and professionals are on the way, I dont think Ive ever been in a situation where I had to help (I know CPR but Ive been fortunate enough to never need to use it) Ive never been called in as a witness to anything or been asked to stay or tail anyone - thats just me living in NYC where everyone usually has a gun in spots like Brownsville or Canarsie - even for something as simple as a domestic disturbance theyve never told me to stay or anything. Rather than saying "Someone attacked someone", news stories try to get as much detail, so in this case it would be "Black man attacked white cop". That guy with the sunglasses and slippers helped take down the suspect, but he had to leave, so that picture had to be taken pretty soon after the incident. But I didn't see anyone taking pictures nearby.
