They said the entire DLC pack would be released by February 2020 the latest I think? Here we are coming up to the halfway mark of 2019 almost and they've released a grand total of 1/5 of the pack lol. That leaves us with about 9 months left for them to get it all out.

Tbqh though, it's kind of exciting since at that rate, they'd have be to be revealing/releasing a new character every 2 months to meet that deadline they set for themselves.

(Of course they're Nintendo so I could see them doing something stupid like releasing 2 at once around E3, and then wait until January of next year to release the next two lol)

That's releasing, not revealing, though, and also including Piranha Plant who isn't even a part of the pack. Right now, it's been a bizarre schedule where they showed Joker off the day before release, then didn't put him out for 5 months lol.

Like, to keep that pace up, they'd have to do a "and it's available now!" announcement for the next character, which would be at E3 presumably and then do the same for every other character. (Unless they reveal them all at once at E3 which isn't too likely)

They are probably taking so long to reveal because they're all third party characters and they want to make sure all legal issues are sorted out.

There's a rumour going around that the next 2 characters will be announced at E3.

Ughhhhh I hope not, unless they do a "And it's available now!" reveal like I said earlier, but then just announce the second one later on as a tease.

I dunno if I'm the odd one out here but I'd really not be into having two characters release at the same time, since learning both would be a pain in the ass lol.

Yeah I guess that seems like the most likely scenario, given the timing of everything right now.

Actually, after giving it a little thought, getting two reveals at E3 would be pretty good just cuz it would blow away a lot of supposed leaks, depending on who all does get shown off.
