Maybe it's best remembered fondly without going back to it.
I rewatched it a few years ago, and to be honest, while S2 wasn't quite as bad as I remembered (mainly because I enjoyed the Normal/Alec double act more this time around), S1 also had a hell of a lot of clunky moments that I had forgotten. Lydecker carried the show a lot more than I realised at the time. And holy hell has the hip hop culture aesthetic dated badly. But, yeah, Jessica Alba does look as good as we remember. --- ...
