The Ori became more and more fanatic so the Ancient secretly moved to the Milkyway galaxy to prevent a big war. And now millions of fanatic years later Daniel made them aware of the Milkyway galaxy.

She got pregnant.
Then two months later she miscarried.
And then she got another miscarriage.
Third time the charm and she got a daughter.
Then for the rest of Stargate and Atlantis she got another 6 miscarriages.

the priors have the ability to just cure the pandemic, but yeah going against the will of the Ori makes a fail safe they put in the priors activate and kill them. and gerak knew that's what would happen but he didn't anyway. pretty decent little redemption arc there, i thought.

the enlightened being that helped carter is the one she had a romance with but it came back as a boy this time.
