My vote went to Littlefinger, but could have easily gone to Varys as well. Both were some of the most interesting characters in early seasons, only to be completely irrelevant towards the end. Littlefinger was demoted to just smirking in the background for the entirety of season 7, and really the same can be said for Varys as well. We saw about five minutes of old Varys only for him to be immediately killed. Honorable mention to the Night King as well, but there were countless things wrong with that episode beyond just the NK's death. --- I have trouble concentrating because I have 80HD. <cite>TheBiggerWiggle posted [p:921958073] in Which Game... The problem is that the entire army of the dead thing was a plot device with no real significance other than being a mortal threat. It went no deeper than that. Fans were expecting some hidden agenda or deeper meaning from the Night King. His death itself was fine, and there were tons of clues Arya would kill him. The deaths of Cersei and Jaime were by far the worst. You have two characters that were extremely important and they were killed by bricks. Killed by fucking bricks. Night King felt extremely lackluster and Euron's made no sense at all why it was included the way it was. All the rest of the deaths felt extremely rushed, but that's more of a pacing issue with ending the show with 6 episodes. I felt like the way the rest of the characters die was sorta appropriate given their backstory and history. The actor (who was one of the few that actually read the whole series of books) told them his character should still be alive, it fueled their drive to kill him off sooner. There was a convention or something where they tell the story but don't name drop who it was.
