I currently am but I think Im screwing myself. There are so many games I want to play that I skip because I want to 100% games. That or get to as close to 100% as possible before I just move on. I do this in single player and multiplayer games. I mean, I missing experiences of games I want to play because I need every weapon and complete every challenge in games. I should get out of that and play more games. I can possibly have time to play other games outside of shooters if I do lol

Im OCD about doing every side quest in a game, but I almost never bother with trying to get 100% completion of a game overall

For actual story content and side missions, yes, I like to do everything. For open world games, I'll usually seek to get all the baubles if I find exploring the world to be fun or if I just naturally pick up 80%+ through the run. I don't care at all about getting all achievements.

Only if I really love the game, most times I compete 75 to 85% of my games.

As a kid I was.

I realized quickly with games like Star Ocean Till the End of Time and The Last Hope that fuck 100% in games.

I have to really love the game to 100% them. I'm pretty sure the only games I've done 100% for this gen are;

- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Quantum Break
- Spider-man
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Astrobot: Rescue Mission (collectible wise not trophy wise)

It also depends on the game. Something like The Witcher 3 is too intimidating for me to 100% it

Yes, to the point of completing as many side quests and maxing my characters out.

No, in the way of trophies on games. I have never and will never try to get trophies on PS4 games.

I've 100%'d a few games, but only the ones that I've really loved throughout the years.

The thing is, 100%ing a game is not always the same for everybody. For example, Final Fantasy VIII. A lot of people would consider a perfect file having all stats maxed without junctioning. I don't think that's neccesary. I have MY perfect file with all stats maxed for all characters with junctions

Why would I spend hundreds of hours farming stat boosters when there's an alternative that is an essential part of the game?

When it comes to Platinum, I've always tried to go for it, but again, only on games that I know I will enjoy going through the hassle.
