October and it doesn't matter. No one really reads those unless you miss something like 3 months, then you might need to explain the gap in an interview.

Trust me, I'm like the king of overthinking things might be too misleading/inappropriate for my resume, but even I think this is stupid. It doesn't matter what month you were closer to, factually you started in October and there is nothing wrong with putting something that is fact. Hell, it's one of the few things on your resume that isn't subjective.
