In some cases, we may ask the individual for more information. We have carefully developed criteria in alignment with the Article 29 Working Partys guidelines. Once we reach a decision, the individual will receive an email notifying him or her of our decision and, if we do not delist the URL, a brief explanation. MagnusX posted...Darklit_Minuet posted...MagnusX posted...Darklit_Minuet posted...allowing you to remove yourself from google There was an estimated 30 trillion pages indexed by Google in 2013 ( https://venturebeat.com/2013/03/01/how-google-searches-30-trillion-web-pages-100-billion-times-a-month ). Assuming no change - despite a 30-fold increase over the previous 5 years - that means 1 million pages is 0.00000003333% of total content. I can imagine lots of context where an individual's rights may override the rights of a corporation (ie groups created to harass, links to patently false slander, revenge porn, child porn, etc) or desire to see everything. Not everything is black or white and there can absolutely be justification for not indexing some pages. It's not like you can just ask to have anything you want deleted and it will be. It's also still on the internet, just not indexed by one private corporation. ... Copied to Clipboard!
