It blows my mind that in literal 2018 not only can people still not recognize a maturation story when they see it but actually consider the first part of said maturation story a major flaw. I've literally heard people complain that The Lion King was an awful movie because little Simba whines a lot. The only thing I actively dislike about The Lion King is Mathew Broderick.
