And what are they about? If you listen to them, that is.

I like a few different ones.

Terrible Warriors - They play lots of TTRPGs. The first episode was Video Game Expendables. Where the players were Master Chief, Commander Shepard, Snake, and Alice (From the Madness Returns). But they do a lot of cool games. And not only the most common. And the players are a lot of fun.

Cracked podcast - Bascially like the site Cracked.com. Lost of cool info. Lots of funny ones. They can sometimes be hit or miss. If you like the site, you may like the podcast.

Welcome to Night Vale - This podcast is bananas. Very weird. But it makes me laugh. It basically doesnt make sense. Its a radio announcer basically saying whats going on in a crazy town where nothing really makes that much sense. But pretends like its all pretty normal.

Also, once, the Terroble Warriors did a Welcome to Night Vale game. That was pretty cool. And lots of fun.

What about you guys. What podcast? A short description. And why you like it. Or maybe if its one of your interest.

Im listening to The Adventure Zone right now. Its three brothers and their father playing Dungeons and Dragons, with almost all of them having very little knowledge or experience playing. Im only five episodes in (of 69), but its pretty funny so far. I hear the story gets really intense as the quest goes on.

Ive never played dnd so I dont care much about the game mechanics or rules. Im into it for the story and character development.

I think Id be fine either way. Ive listen to many games that play fast and loose with the rules. I usually just like the story. And it can be fun to hear. Ill see, though.

Yeah. AFAIK. I still see new articles a lot, IIRC. That being said, I know their Editor-in-Chief Jack O'Brien lefts while ago. So, there were probably some changes.

The Film Reroll is one that I like. Basically, a group role plays various movies but with D&D rules applied, so they have to succeed dice rolls to complete actions. Between improv silliness and unlucky dice rolls the plot can sometimes totally go off the rails. I've never played D&D before but I sort of understand the appeal now as a result.
