If you want to build muscle, diet is extremely important, but for now just focus on losing weight. If you just want to lose weight (you do for now), you can eat what you want, just measure your portions and be sensible (in addition to exercise with a focus on cardio)

There's a trick I found that works. You gotta treat yourself like you would treat a five year old sometimes, because there's still a five year old in all of us that screams I DON'T WANNA whenever you gotta do the things you don't want to do. You gotta tell that little shit to straighten up and do the thing. Or no video games.

im not eating any JUNK. i eat chicken ass breast, tons of veggies like potatoes, carrots, bok ass choi, spinach, asparagus. i eat brown rice and oatmeal and white rice too but not too often cuz i heard yeah

Eat less AND do cardio to lose weight, then eat more AND lift to throw visible muscle on yourself.

If you just start lifting without losing the weight first youll still look fat, just now youll have more strength to lift heavier things. Not much will change about the way you look.

why? but ill have muscle which means ill using energy just by having muscles! so my muscles will make me lose fat. how will i get these fat draining arm bags if i don't eat enough and therefore have not enough nutrients to make muscles

Stop drinking shitty shit and you will lose lbs if you are a fatso. Start going to the gym and working out and you will start to see results in the gym that may not directly be losing lbs but will make you feel better and are good. Lifting is fine and may be better than cardio because it's fucking mind numbingly boring.

IMO, diet/food is like 90% of getting healthy. If you eat really good over a long period of time you will be thin(er) and healthy(ier). If you add in some lifting you will get jacked as fuck and the girls will be jumping on your dick. Easy game bro.

By EATING good does it mean QUALITY of food or does QUANTITY MATTER aswel! beacuse i am eating i think HEALTHY CHOICES but i maybe eat too much im a fucking FATSO. I dont drink soda pop at all or juice i drink only water.....

also i think im a pretty healthy fatty. I just have too much fat stored under my skin. my heart is healthy, and i don't do drugs, and I eat lots of nutrients, no sugary foods, no fatty foods.

Anyway should I be only lifting if I want muscle and be less of a fatty.

Start with calorie control or QUANTITY. Then when you start to see results from that work on the macros -- ratios or totals of carbs/fats/proteins and shit like that (QUALITY). The big picture is to get a calorie deficit going -- eating less than what your body needs to be maintain its fatso status. This is hard to do over the long term because your brain is trying to fuck you on this. Your brain is used to being attached to a fatso body so its wants to trick you into thinking you need to eat like a fatso because it thinks anytime you aren't being a fatso you are starving and going to die. Thats your brain's bull shit though so just tell it to fuck off.

You should be lifting to get jacked. You will burn calories and cultivate muscle mass. Both of those things will help you become less fatty.

Lift while eating at a caloric deficit. It'll help retain the muscle mass that you have and you'll also burn more calories at rest. If you've never lifted before you'll probably see some strength gains as well.

Recommending cardio to someone is hard because most people hate that shit and it's generally not a great time/calories burned investment. Jumping rope can burn a lot of calories but no one actually wants to do it.

How heavy are you?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say cut your caloric intake to 1700 calories a day.

Basically, stop pigging out all the time.

It will be easier if you eliminate drinks besides water and maybe black coffee. Drinking your calories is a good way to ruin a diet.

And walk an hour every day, or at least every other day.
