I didn't care for the spliced-in home videos. They just came off as manipulative. I feel that the tone of the video should have been more neutral to better represent the critical thinking and impartiality that go in to these sorts of investigations. That prison rape joke in particular was just tasteless and unnecessary.

It's an interesting watch though. I like to see subliminal social cues clearly explained like this. People who are good at reading others "feel" what this video says out loud. In that way, maybe it's possible to teach yourself to how to have the right gut feelings about people.

how effective is evidence like that in court? like, obviously the look of shock when the officer walked behind him and started radioing in isn't evidence of anything, but its very telling

What a piece of shit. This hits me especially hard, because his wife somewhat resembles my wife when she was a bit younger, and my youngest 2 children are little blonde girls, 2 and 1, but still close enough. How could anyone do something like this? Hell is too good for him.
