Yeah it's sad and lame.

I do kinda like the W/B spirit tokens. It could go with the G/W tokens to make a three color token deck.

I have a BW knight deck with 4 history of Benalia and 4 of the knights of malice and grace, and there are some great GW knights too to just go all horse ridery on some butts.

the past few sets, the prerelease events have even included promo codes for arena, they'll definitely try to put it up simultaneously

I fun into a lot more life gain decks in Arena right now. But you can have all the life you want, it's you're cards I want!

Spectacle is basically a different casting cost that you can pay to get a spell out for cheaper or for a bigger effect

i love when you draft ravnica dimir and draw 1 island in your first 4 games when you had a 10/7 swamp to island split

I've never lost to rats, and every single time I've played against rats the player runs the clock like crazy once they realize I've lost. It's a really boring and dumb deck.

i'm predicting Esper might become the dominant color combo for control once the set comes out, since it is getting cards from both Azorius and Orzhov to round out its pool, whereas Jeskai is dominant right now because it's already gotten cards from 2 of its constituent guilds

what does jeskai even play from red? deafening clarion I know... expansion/explosion? ral? niv?

if niv wasn't RRR I almost wonder if 4 colour control would become a thing

No. It was just some random ranked dual. He had three different high-powered dragons out by turn 4 or 5 and I just got out of there.

I'd normally be all over firemind's research, but there are just way better payoffs for "play lots of blue/red spells" decks atm. drakes and phoenixes for actually being good and thousand year storm for being hilarious

This is how I feel as well. But sometimes I think I'll have another turn so I don't concede and then they kill me when a Burn spell. Just fucking do that and be done with it, GG. You can see your cards my entire turn as well. I know like 3 things I want to do, and then I narrow that down depending on what my opponent plays and/or what I draw. Nothing that much changes. So why do people take forever? I mean, I get new players, but it seems like this happens all the time with people playing decks that are clearly not newbie made

I think the issue are those god damn fucking Twitch streamers talking and/or listening to their chat. "Do this" "Do that" OH, thanks for the Tips! Shout out to Bob108 for the 100 bit cheer!

Which is why Ill sit and take the damage and let them play cards. Just do it more quickly. Im bitching about how long it takes for them to make really easy choice. I have 1 Hp and all my land is tapped and they have 2 Mountains open and a Shock. Why take 30 second to kill me with the only card you can even play?
