You never really came off, to me, as a knowitall look down on you type of doc, tho.

Mostly because I have terrible self esteem and extremely bad Imposter Syndrome. I don't even know how I managed to get this far.

No, the docs who think they know everything are the worst ones. You never know enough to think that, imo. It's OK to be wrong. I don't understand why people have to think they're right all the time.

That kinda flies in the face of what it means to be evidence-based.

I will add, however, that it's extremely frustrating to deal with a patient who grossly overestimates their medical knowledge. "My daughter is a nurse aid" doesn't exactly make you a pharmacist.
