And if they understood the concept of self awareness, they'd realize that. Socialism or least socialist ideas have worked in the right circumstances. Even communism has worked on very small scales. Name 1 time nationalism benefited the common man. "Made bigots have to deal with less minorities" does not count. Nationalism has never worked to make its own country better, just more isolated.
