There's no minimum vacation in the USA regulated federally. It depends on where you work. It's up to the employer to give the vacation days. Professionals get more than retail/fast food workers usually, for example.

Most employers in the US don't offer this unless you have moved up the ladder and been with the company for many years.
Otherwise, you have to be lucky and land a coushy job with a company making bank, and these jobs are usually white collar. --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 29 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ... Depends on the job
If you're working a shit job here, good luck with getting paid time off, or ANY time off in the first place. Even if you work an ok job, some of them have an unspoken "do not use your time off" culture. Some are better or worse than others, but for the most part I think the average person gets little/none. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Depends on the company. At mine, I get 10 hours a month that can be carried over into a new year. Max of 320 hours. I have like 250 and I'm gonna cash out 40 hours in January

Well at one job I got nothing--I could take time off without pay if I wanted but that was it.
At another job I got three weeks to use whenever but the company actually closed for two weeks a year so I pretty much had to use it then. I had to work my way up to three, too. My first year I got one so I had to strategically slack off so I would be coming up on deadlines and have to work anyway. At this job, I get ten paid holidays and two weeks vacation, which is pretty sweet tbh. --- 53 LIII 0b110101 p16 0x35 ... Copied to Clipboard!
