Diabetes is becoming a financial death sentence for those without good coverage. considering how common the disease is and that many folks literally cant live without it, youd think the government would step in and do something about the blatant price gouging. Im admitting more and more patients who are having complications from rationing their insulin, fucking sad state of affairs tbh

Type one Diabetic here. Doctor recommended a new pump system. Price was somewhere near $8k
I've gone through so many insurance changes in my life and with those changes had to experience the prices listed above several times.

I don't see Lantus listed but that shit was costing almost $100 alone with $280 a month insurance on top of whatever I was paying for Novolog at the time.
