I never gave a single thought to golf for the first 32 years of my life. But over this past summer I went out 5 times with my neighbour and a couple of his buddies. It was much more fun than I thought it would be. It's basically just drinking with the boys as you scoot around in carts and whack balls.

After 5 times out and a few trips to the range, I already got 3 birdies (all on par 3s). Overall, I suck pretty bad but I am capable of making nice shots sometimes.

Looking forward to doing it more next summer.

I only like playing golf with people who aren't that good so that we can have fun instead of them being annoyed that I suck lol. I only played once in recent memory. Chipped it in on the 18th hole which was cool.

I'm not good enough to really care about my score or competing against the other guys. I just try to make nice shots and enjoy myself.

That's fine with the right people. But then you might be with dicks that get mad that you not being as good holds them up slightly. That's all Im getting at.
