Thats an interesting point, and it might deter some people, but I think that serial killers have a sort of disease that they cant stop themselves. Think about it....you throw a rock through somebody's back window, enter their house, shoot them in the face, and then run off. The police show up and....what are they gonna do to catch you if the victim had no relationship to you? My youngest brother who was 18 at the time was asking why there aren't big time, big name serial killers around in his lifetime. And really it's that there are, it's just that authorities haven't caught on to any pattern to realize there's some operating right now. But it has been a good long while since there's been a huge nationally recognized one operating. Those DC shooters were probably the last and they only operated for a few weeks like 16 years ago. The 70s - early 90s were the hey day of them. --- FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making.
