Started watching boogie a bit before the weight loss journey and surgery. Seems like a well rounded dude, caring, motivational, just a really decide person. I have heard this word come up frquently with Boogie as of late, "dissociation". I looked it up, I have a very basic understanding of it. I just find the way boogie seems to constantly toss it around, more and more frequently, seems to contradict my understand of it. In the most simplified way possible, boogie seems to say Say something many consider offensive and or stupid. Read the responses, often aggressive/hurtful comments. Dissociation occurs Proceeds to fan the fire due to dissociation by continuing to comment and respond Relaise the next day once dissociation has passed it was all a foolish mistake and he should never have done it. Ok, if this happened once, I would understand it entirely. But it seems to be a monthly thing with boogie, heck, weekly, even daily on some level. Not only has he clearly stated that he is fully aware of what will trigger his dissociation, how he will react during, and what the consequence are, but he continues to choose to do so. I just fail to see how making a choice to do something that will lead to your very predicatable reaction is dissociation. It seems dissociation is frequently used as an explanation or excuse, but that doesnt give reason as to why this happens again and again and again. Perhaps this is more clear to others, perhaps boogie has said it before, I dont follow social media and I dont watch every single video. I feel this is a form of self harm. Dissociation just does not explain it. With a cloudy mind think that these issues are not mistakes at all. It seems like an easy way to get others to punish you, to harm you. If you ever see this, Boogie, please give the social media a rest. Take some time to just do what you like, the videos that make you happy, and really rethink your approach. --- you are not alone ... Boogie saying he dissociates is a method of self-harm? Wrong. Its a way for Boogie to blame any wrongdoing on mental illness and shield himself from any criticism. It is manipulative and fake. He doesnt even know how to spell this apparent mental problem that he has allegedly been diagnosed to have. Its dissociation, not disassociation. Theres a difference. And you should probably at least know the word for the problem you have before blaming every stupid thing you do on it. lmao I see why you guys follow this shit honestly --- you are not alone ...
