It's super awkward, and the personality of the blogger feels completely absent. Before, you'd scroll through a series of posts and realize the curator was exploring a certain kink or fascination that they wanted to share. It was kind of personal.

Then there were the caption blogs that would caption suggestive images with a whole short story recontextualizing the photo into something hot and narratively engaging.

Or maybe the blogger would share something completely different, like a show they were following or a movie they were looking forward to. It really was like a whole community.

Also some girl I know has one picture where she's standing in front of a mirror with just a towel on (it's a selfie mirror shot) and another from the backside where her butt's uncovered.

I always thought that I wouldn't care when that place got shut...(put mildly) but not like this! (on principle alone,.. with all the other shit going on online right now.. the war on "wrongthink" as well as basically anything sexual.... also, if it dies like this then all the tumblrinas and other morons are going to jump ship in mass.. god help wherever they land!)

Someone I know got their blog flagged as "Explicit" so they got shut down yesterday, but they appealed it today and actually won. Actually shocking.

Someone found a way to toggle the "Explicit" option on desktop so you can get your blog back to normal. It truly is incredible how lazy the dev is on that site.
