On October 20th 2018, during the Noctis/Master Hand match, people were posting their frustration about Noctis letting everyone down.

I joined the bandwagon on that day, after seeing a user post about Zidane's sexuality. I posted a Noctis is so ga* topic. Both of the ga* topics got taken down within about an hour, but I preserved them due to snipping.

Honorable mention #2- 'Pathetic vote totals'

On October 18th, 2018, during the very first set of matches in Division 1, user PrestonStarry2 eloquently pointed out a noticeable numerical decline in poll values.



I laughed a lot when I saw the post, and people seemed to reaffirm the belief that PrestonStarry's return was a sign of a former contest veteran who had returned.

On November 4th 2018, I made a long, lengthy post on how I felt this contest needed rallies badly. The topic became very popular, and eventually was source material for probably 30 minutes on an episode of "The Show".

On October 29th and Nov 1 2018, user @ExThaNemesis finally got his revenge after 5 and 3 years respectively against the rally fanbases. He had rose to internet fame back in 2013/2015 due to his negative reactions over those results, but he had his revenge in 2018.

On October 25th 2018, during the Chris Redfield/Phoenix Wright match day, user DirtBasedSoap voiced his frustration at a typical character archetype known in Japanese culture.





It was followed by many users posting their favorite weeb characters in the topic as a response.

Number 1- "Award Winning" Ellie loses, TheStupidRaptor Goes Legend

The moment youve all been waiting for.

On Nov 2 2018, Kos-Mos took on Ellie in what was seen by the Board as likely an easy win for KOS-MOS. It played out that way, yet there was one user who seemed to have extreme umbrage with the result. Enter user TheStupidRaptor.



In what was the topic of the year, TheStupidRaptor faced off against nearly every notable user of Board 8 during the 2018 contest season, including myself, ZenofThunder, Celes, @ninkendo, @pyresword, Safer_777, @Lopen, Weakupedia, @Ngamer64, CaptainOfCrush, @LordoftheMorons, @Logience, johnnymama, and many others.



@CelesMyUserName even posted amazing hentai pictures of KOS-MOS in glory:











The topic was so good and funny even @ZenOfThunder joined in to try to help TheStupidRaptor.





StupidRaptor called everyone on the Board basement dwellers lol.

In less than 24 hours the topic had nearly 250 posts.



It was, for me, the most memorable and funniest moment of the 2018 contest season. Only on here could we get into a serious and funny argument like that over a small first round match, KOS-MOS vs Ellie, characters that the mainstream populace have no idea who they are.
