I like how people are acting like they have behind the scenes evidence (or know that there is a lack of evidence) regarding this matter. Kolibri keeps saying "if that's the best you got" but seems to not realize that it doesn't matter what we have it's what Muller has. That being said, anyone who thinks the final nail is already in the Coffin for Trump is also incorrect. He may have committed campaign financing crimes, but unless Muller can prove there was collusion between the Trump team and Russia then he isn't going anywhere till 2020 at the very least.

Finally someone using their brain.

10 pages of circle jerk and no one can name the terrible crimes he committed. I'm not saying Trump is completely innocent, but they need a lot more to pin anything on him.

Lol. They have nothing.

Why did George Papadopoulos plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI about the Trump investigation if they knew nothing?
Why did Paul Manafort plead guilty to 25 different counts? Why did he lie to the FBI? How did they find out he was lying if they knew nothing?
Why did Rick Gates agree to a plea deal, pleading guilty to one charge of false statements and one charge of conspiracy, if Mueller knows nothing?
Why did Flynn plead guilty to making false statements over a year ago now if the FBI knew nothing way back then?
Why did the FBI arrest 13 Russian Nationals on conspiracy charges and identity theft related to the Russian propaganda campaign that occured during the 2016 election, if they knew nothing?
Why did Alex van der Zwaan plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI to assist Rick Gates if the FBI knew nothing?
Why did Michael FUCKING Cohen, Trump's personal lawyer for decades, plead guilty to multiple finance charges, then agreed to a plea deal with Mueller, if Mueller knew nothing? Mueller has said that Cohen's been very helpful.

Oh no! Facts!?! The weakness of Trumpers!

Papadopoulos is a real fucking name? Dude...

Are you new to politics?

This for starters, more comes out constantly though. Also there was a great writeup about the ramifications of Friday's sentencing memos

And did I not state that he may have violated campaign fiance laws? Violating campaign finance laws is hardly a offense that can lead to impeachment or jail time. And it doesn't disqualify him from being in office or running for office again.

And do you know who else violated campaign finance laws? Obama.

He paid a fine of $375,000. Never got kicked out of office and ran for president a 2nd time.

Their response is either that it wasn't a crime, it wasn't a bad crime, or it wasn't his fault. We are not even close to cracking that delusion.

I was actually reading on Reddit about people sharing how Nixon's crimes were treated, and I imagine it will play out the same. If undeniable proof comes out that he is a criminal, and it's not easy to just hand wave away with some 'fake news' spin, then they will just all turn around and go, 'well, you see, all politicians are criminals and he is just the one who got caught, but he was a good president so I still support him'.

If people are particularly invested, they may even try to argue some sort of double-think rhetoric where he only got caught because he wasn't willing to go to the same heinous lengths as his opponents to cover it up, or something like that.
