I just started and have barely touched the story. Just playing with the new grappling hook mechanics on various things in various combos has kept me entertained for hours

I picked up Just Cause 3 on a steam sale, never played a JC game before. As far as I can make out the story is secondary and it's basically just a sandbox destruction game.

3 went through serious development problems due to publisher meddling, Avalanche basically had only a few months to cobble together the story before launch and you can see it the more you play it

nobody knows the story to any of the just cause games. it's a destruction sandbox game, ergo if you play any of the games in the series you basically played them all

On that note, JC3 has a nasty Ram Leak on pc with Controllers...

Really annoying, though there is a way to avoid the issue (Unplug controller->Boot Game->Replug controller when game is booted->Profit)

Does JC4 have that issue as well?

How is it compared to 2. that was the only one I played, but it seemed like a big step up from 1 while 3 and 4 just look like 2.5

Dunno if this is Ram leaks in general (first time ive run into it), but restarting the game doesnt fix it.. oh no, not at all, just makes it worse.

Rebooting your pc though DOES.. thank god for that (Maybe a ram cleaning tool, if that exists, could do it as well. My S9+ has such a feature so pc might as well)

JC3 isnt quite as good as JC2... with the exception of the wingsuit which is bloody awesome.

And with the air thingy dlc pack, you get some broken ass upgrades for it... in short, rechargeable jet engine, machine gun, and rockets.
