She's old and infirm so I have to do her groceries

Anyway recently she sent me to buy parsley and I accidentally bought coriander instead.

Then today she sent me to buy kale and I bought salad instead. It was confusing because it says "kale" and "salad" in big letters but below everything is kind of mixed together.

That got her really pissed off. She also vented about the time when she asked me to remove the weeds from the garden and gave me gloves and a trowel and apparently it seems that I removed all her flowers instead of the weeds.

Anyway. I'm gonna play so Mass Effect now. Enough emotions for one day.

when old people lose competency it's a defense mechanism to blame it on others instead of accepting that they're going through the detrimental effects of aging. cuz that's a very painful thing to admit to yourself.

If shes frequently abusive, maybe see if she can sign up for grocery delivery. If this is a one off, I wouldnt let it get to you.

Meh... she's very paranoid. Just a difficult person to deal with. When my grandfather died, she accused my aunt of poisoning him. When my grandma died, she went to the police to tell them the nurses in the hospital killed her. I guess you kind of learn to live with her illness.

She doesn't a cell phone, but I did sometimes take pictures and sent it via gmail then called and asked her to go on the computer and check my email

Never did that with food though... maybe I should. I did that when I bought a carpet and also when I bought chairs
