apparently for the curved screens you "need" to use glue and uv light or not even bother with a screen protector.

I've just been using the plastic ones that they give you when you buy a phone. but the. curve screem fucks it up.

Screen protectors used to be important before they started using scratch-resistant glass. I don't use a screen protector and only replace my phone every 2-3 years, and there's no visible damage to the screen even though I sometimes (accidentally) put it in the same pocket as my keys.

They are a scam, yes.

They actually scammed me out of that 50 dollar one for the curved S9. Broke in a week, and never stayed on properly.

The screen is resistant as fuck to scratches as is. If you drop it on a really hard surface screen first anyway, even with those things its fucked

my screen protector is cracked at the very edge(off screen) and i've had to remove the pieces but the inside remains smooth as new.
