Not sure that Id pay full price, but I got the full game for $7.

I feel like this is just RDR2 shit on a small scale.

"This game isn't for me so it sucks" and all that.

Except with RDR2 the world made people seem objectively wrong about calling it a bad game.

Yeah I've never gotten the feeling that JC games are supposed to be great games, if that makes any sense. They've always had a certain degree of jankiness that manages to work within the context of the game, and they are really fun. They don't feel like AAA games, but they do have a lot to offer

No it isn't. People have been bitching about 76 not being a "real" Fallout game ever since it was announced and before anyone had even played it. That has been the main narrative from gamers since day 1, and I've encountered tons of people both irl and online who completely wrote it off based on that alone.

Some of the criticism is based on gameplay now that people have actually played it, but the "I'm not playing that shit" people are still overshadowing that

They're people whose job is to play games and review them, that actually played the game and criticized it for being a broken piece of garbage. These people decided a AAA game (the games notorious for having usually bloated positive reviews) was so fucking bad that it added up to a 53 rating. Tons of people have bought this game and shared the same sentiment. Nothing is being overshadowed here. It has strictly been about the gameplay since day one, that is why it got a heavy discount a week after launch. Something that literally -never- happens with games of this caliber.

It got a heavy discount after launch because it was Black Friday. Nearly all games that come out that close to Thanksgiving have huge Black Friday deals. Thats literally why publishers choose to release at that time.

No they don't lmao. RDR2 got no deals. Nintendo games never do. Fallout 4 damn sure didn't in 2015.

High caliber games never get discounts right at launch. Games like WWE 2k19? Sure.

Pokmon Lets Go! was $40 on Black Friday.

You're deflecting from the loads of people who have owned and criticized the game, to talk about the people who weren't interested in the game to begin with, and pretending nobody is criticizing the gameplay. It's very stupid

Actually I've acknowledged that some of the more recent criticism is about gameplay while the overwhelming majority of the public's criticism since it was announced has been from people who are mad it's not a regular Fallout game. Critic reviews have jack shit to do with that.
