That's true And come to think of it, Sumo from Final Fantasy Adventure/Seiken Densetsu/Mystic Quest was also enslaved at the start of his game, though they never gave many details about his backstory I don't think there are really any other FF characters with such a harsh beginning. Fuckin' FF15 stars a rich prince who literally drives an Audi around with his pals.
