You know, most readers, especially casual readers (lulz) only ever read sci-fi and fantasy. Talk about scraping the barrel. But I can't feel sorry for these people, because...why would I?

No. Do you mean that book by Kazuo Ishirugo? I read half of the first page in a bookstore, saw it was basically fantasy, and put it down. I've read most of his books, though, and generally enjoyed them. At least one I've read a few times.
