The world's leading doctors and scientists have discovered that your brain is abnormal and inside of it lies the key for curing cancer which could be perfected and implemented globally within 5-10 years.

The issue is that due to a series of complicated reasons which you're not knowledgable enough to quite understand no matter how many times they to explain it to you, they have to act quickly and remove your brain. If they wait until you die, it will be too late and the results would be worthless.

Due to ethical reasons promoted by liberals, they obviously can't just kill you and take your brain. They need your consent or else the whole thing is off.

Would you sacrifice your life to save many many others? Becoming a footnote in medical history for all time.

Or would you say "No way Jose." And get on with your life? But cancer remains as dominant as it is now?

I would, or would like to think so. People have sacrificed their lives for far less.

I'm in my 30s, and I've had a pretty OK life so far. I could go out happy in this scenario.

- I want to live 1 year like a king, enjoying life.

- I get a monument on my name, kind of like Supermans statue in BvS and I have to be mentioned in history classes for what I did.

- after exactly 1 year I go to a hospital and they put me to sleep and then they do it.

I mean, those people are going to die of something sooner or later. Given that cancer predominantly hits old people, that "sooner or later" is probably going to be "sooner". The majority of people you're helping, you're giving a few extra years and maybe a more comfortable death (although with legal euthanasia gaining support, the latter might not be a concern for much longer), rather than doubling or more their lifespan.
