I'm unsure on whether or not it would matter to me. I guess if you want to pre-buy a lot of stereotypical clothes, toys, decorations, etc.. before they're born. But it's not like once you find out there's anything you can do about it either way. If you wanted a boy but are having a girl, too bad. You can't be like "Oh, it's a girl? Just change that to a boy please."

I think the biggest preparation is just knowing that you're having a kid, period.
