Rockstar has announced that the beta will be released in stages, adding more and more players throughout the week:

Tuesday, November 27: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners.

Wednesday, November 28: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.

Thursday, November 29: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.

Friday, November 30: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.

Day 1 buyers get in the following day.

Not if it keeps the beta launch from being a disaster like GTA online. This will help them ramp up instead of getting hit with the full force of the playerbase at midnight. And I don't have the ultimate edition. I was just there for the disappointing gta online launch. I'd rather wait and be in a later wave if it will help them with stability.

Also lol my 6 day vacation literally starts on launch day, I guess I'll have to get my gunslinger on.

Again, this was not advertised. No one knew what the ultimate edition would include beyond online bonuses. Knowing this, customers bought it anyway and thus they deserve it.

People keep on saying that "Oh it's just beta, it's no big deal" are completely missing the point. Why the fuck is a beta for this needed? The game has been in development for years and was released weeks ago.

Either include online multiplayer with the base game or don't have it at all. Staggering the release of the BETA when the game is already out is insulting.
