I'm with you TC.

I grew up poor and eventually after college and a good job I couldn't help how poor people are that way from bad decisions (having children without planning on it, law trouble, drugs, getting involved with the wrong people, playing videogames all day while being complacent at a 9-5). And though it's not always a person's fault if they are poor, I soon came to realize that blaming other people for the situation you are in will get you nowhere.

So now I wouldn't say I'm conservative as I'm not religious, but I think that individual liberty should be the highest value held for a government. Let someone live the life they want to with minimal intervention.
