Meant to be a cute, creative tool to collaborate with other users, people soon decided it was much easier and more entertaining to respond with flaming and non-serious responses designed to take all meaning and context out of the original post. I get entertainment out of TikTok by watching compiliations of people fucking with other people. It's a classic case of "normies vs the internet" with the userbase and all the poor, unknowing middle ages moms and high schoolers wanting to reenact scenes from their favorite NBC sitcom get fuckin roasted by everyone else.
