MadDewg 11/23/18 11:40:58 AM #14:	Picking rod is usually the way to go in kingdom hearts 1, since there is no way to improve your magic attack like there is defense and attack. (magic attack goes up with your maximum magic stat. Picking rod gives you more than you would get with shield). When I played through KH1 final mix, I picked rod, dropped sword and pretty much spanked the game. You get that ripple and stun move mad early, and those two moved put in work, lol. As far as how hard it is, its not too bad. Definitely harder than the base game, but ya' can handle it. Also, for the questions I always chose to leave at dusk. I prefer the faster leveling rate at late game. Darkinsanity1 11/23/18 12:18:24 PM #15:	I actually prefer picking the sword and giving up the shield because it gives you early access to Slap Shot and Counter attack and you can pretty much destroy ground and air combat. I have picked the Staff before because "optimal" and all but I didn't enjoy playing this way as much. Only other problem with this though is I think it gets you second chance and leaf bracer a bit later. --- Every time you read this, squirrels randomly burst into flames.
