I have the calves of a god... I could horsekick a baby's head off with these things

But my thighs and quads are kinda not up to snuff

squats, quad extensions, hamstring curls

squats requires a barbell (well, or two dumbells but you need a lot of weight)

extensions/curls requires a machine as far as I know, or at least a bench with the right addon

at first I thought you sounded right, but yeah, thinking about it, kicking backwards is controlled by your hamstrings. calf muscles control pushing your foot/toes. the exercise for calves is holding weights while standing with your toes on the edge of a step, and then lifting yourself up and down on your toes.

You could rig something up with a little ingenuity, hell one time I just put some weights in a bag and did some hamstring curls.
