They're criminally underfunded, leading to citizens and legal residents getting held and deported, an insane backlog that makes the public defender system look amazing, and generally makes a mockery of our justice system by denying basic rights and representation.

No I don't support diverting money from ICE. They are kinda important. And I have no idea what's going on with the Wall. But I do agree with you that more money could be put into immigration courts

Except the burst in funding for ICE is leading to a ton of legal residents and citizens getting deported by putting too many into the system.

Mind you, when I say divert funds, I don't mean defund it as I agree ICE is very important, I'm only saying it's current funding level is excessive.
