The recent alarmist article that was published in Nature and said we had less time than we thought, things are worse than we thought, etc, was retracted because it was not actually correct.

It's not accurate to fear-monger about climate change as if it somehow justifies getting rid of capitalism and implementing Marxism in its place. We already know Marxism won't fix climate change, because the USSR and the eastern bloc in Europe and etc proceeded with fossil fuels full steam ahead. In terms of total carbon emissions China is putting more carbon into the atmosphere than America is, last I checked. Which means that it's a problem technology must solve.

And we see that the free market is adopting renewables at break-neck speed. We're ahead of schedule in terms of renewables and electric vehicles. And soon we'll see carbon sequestration technology deployed at large scales. We will overcome climate change in the next 15 years.

Radical Marxists know that the standard of living we currently enjoy is not sustainable under Marxism. They know that it's harder, if not impossible, to define "the means of production" in a free global market economy. That is why they want to revert to a simpler more agricultural type of living. And that is why they peddle climate change as a justification for deindustrialization. They don't actually care about fixing climate change - all they care about is using it as a justification for moving towards their vision for the economy. It's literally just a cudgel against capitalism to them, and they use it because they hate not having control over everyone else's success.

It isn't capitalism's fault that humanity stumbled upon fossil fuels and ran with them. Regardless of the economic system we might've had in place, fossil fuels would've still been bad. It just so happens that the free market is the most effective tool for getting renewables (with government investment) into the spotlight as quickly as possible.

Sorry to hear man. just remember that the male brain can make losing a girl seem much worse than it really is. For me, it always hits the ego and I start wondering what is wrong with me. But then I realize every person is different and every situation is different and that it's totally okay for 2 people to break up and move on.

Thanks man. I've pretty much been experiencing said hit the ego. Probably because she was definitely better looking than me. But she had her realistic reasons -- that her life situation atm is best suited for her to be single -- and I can accept them. It's still quite devastating though.
