I figure I need to quickly learn about wines and their pairings so I dont act like a complete useless idiot in the weeks thanksgiving rush at the liqour store, and while I will ask my manager and do my own homework I am curious as to what you guys are having or being served, if you dont know.

If youre just eating a standard turkey dinner, cool, but if youre having something atypical for a tgiving dinner like duck, turducken, ham, etc etc let me know.

Even if its just grandmas 5L jug of Rossi's Paisano, let me know. Curious.

There's going to be a white zinfadel to go with the turkey. This is a classic pairing.

Probably not. But I may be spending it at home with my pets. Though, my BF said i could spend it with his family if I wanted to. I think I had this wine that reminded me of soda a bit one Thanksgiving. It might have been with I was 18. It was at a friends house.

We usually have a big get together of about fifty people. Usually a couple of my cousins will bring wine but not sure what they will bring this year.
