I just spent 430 Euros on a drawing. I also have a painting that I spent $5,700 on, a drawing for $2,200, and another drawing for around $1,000.

I bought a pretty big canvas painting from a friend for like $65. We had a falling out, so I got rid of it.

I buy a lot of punk and metal records which have badass artwork on them. Many come with fold out posters too.

I get myself a painting every now and then from second-hand stores or local expositions. You can find some very nice works for less than 100

See, this is pretty good. The features are all aligned very well, the proportions look good, and it has some character.

Yeah, but I haven't spent a ton of money. $100 tops. Even then, you can find some pretty awesome, original work at thrift stores for really cheap. Same goes for smaller furniture pieces like cool end tables and chairs.

Back when I worked cleaning out foreclosed houses, i'd always take the art because everyone else I worked with always just wanted the old worthless games and TV and stuff.

None of it ever ended up being worth anything, but it looked nice and my parents liked putting them up
