the movie needed a hero to go up against art the clown and she was the best choice
slasher movies where the bad guy wins and all the heroes either die or lose are just depressing and it kills the fun of the movie

it worked better as a short in the movie all hallows eve which was an anthology movie where art the clown originated from
a downer ending there worked just fine because it was just a 20 minute short

I can get behind it, there just wasnt ENOUGH gore. One good scene of a lady getting sawed in half, then an hour of slowly walking around in dark rooms.

i know a lot of people were upset that the killer used a gun to kill tara which isnt something a slasher killer should use
but he used a gun in the original short story
when his victim got away and found help and was being driven to safety art drove up beside them and shot the guy driving the car

The real issue is why this weakling clown who gets his ass beat by a girl wielding a 2 by 4 is suddenly able to snap necks and hold a chubby grown man by the neck with one hand. I can understand needing a long range weapon because they were driving away but this was a girl with a fucking 2 by 4. Also instead of knocking people out with force he used syringes and drugs like a coward.
