Idk where this bitterness is coming from. This is coming from a real Pokmon fan I was front and center for Gen 1 you dont have to play the game if you dont think it looks fun.

I saw some twitch users play it, and it feels like 90% base game and 10% Pokemon GO

like the only think i see that's similar to pokemon go is the catching mechanic. granted, i didn't really see them play game for that long so I may have missed alot of stuff tbh

The only GOOD thing I know about is how you can make all pokemon on the overworld be a nature of your choice for 24 hours since that makes getting a nature you want infinitely easier. But since you cant transfer your pokemon to pokebank and breeding is removed anyway it doesnt really matter as much.

Breeding is gone, Abilities are gone, gyms have rules to get in which destroy single type and low level runs, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
