Most I've spent on a watch was $80.

It was a fossil, keeps date, day of the week, time, and whether it's am or pm.
And waterproof up to 30 meters.

I don't need any specialized features, but I do much prefer glancing at my wrist to tell the time, as opposed to grabbing a phone out of my pocket.

It does. Its in the screen. But sometimes goes away on certain screens.
