I've been to Hollywood and those definitely look more like the people in costume trying to make money off tourists just for a photo. I don't think they dressed up just because of Stan Lee's death.

these guys arent cosplayers lol. they just buy shitty party city superhero or w/e costumes and try to get tourists to pay for pictures with them. you see the same shit in places like Times Square, some kid in a dirty Elmo costume & Jordans trying to con a foreign family into a picture
