Like, she was helping him with technology or something like that, or she hacked his stuff and found his ideology intriguing. Like, her ideology (feeling like humans rely too much on supers and that it holds humanity back) is a logical offshoot from Syndrome's whole, "If everyone is super, nobody is" idea.
