it's start of simple in the beginning but gradually getting more intense as the series. there's more than 6 ways than just the classics emmiter.

togashi had raging boner with boat scene ever since his mini boat arc was cut short by his editor in yuyu hakusho. the battle royale in the boat was the best way to end togashi's obsession with boat. fast forward to hunterxhunter he seems desperate to use every opportunities to put boat scene in every arc even if it's just one small panel.
